#how does martin manage to look SO empty? #I can feel his weight giving out #and his numbness #and in one second he goes from talking to Sherlock looking pretty much normal to looking like the life was sucked out of him
THIS SCENE. THIS FUCKING SCENE.
When Sherlocks head is slowly turned and John says “Jeeeesus….”….I die inside.
My soul died the day I watched this episode.
Martin Freeman’s acting in this episode has completely and utterly convinced me that he is the best actor of this generation. When he grieves in this episode, I feel like his world has ended, like he has lost his purpose and his will to live, and never once does it feel forced. I’ve never seen such genuine emotion in any movie/tv show/whatever. When I can watch a program and never once remember that the character is not real or that there is an actor behind the character, that is the mark of a truly magnificent actor, of a genius.
John Watson was in my coffee shop.
He still types slow.
He texts Sherlock - even after the fall.
I can’t go on.
It’s sad to see a man who’s lost his mind.
But it’s tragic when he’s convinced himself that he’s sane. ♣
Haha, I don’t think he even cares about her enough for that. He treats her like an unwanted branch that is dangling in front of his face. Just carelessly barges through her without even acknowledging that she was there.
John Motherfucking Hamish Watson coming through.

I am under the firm belief that Carey Mulligan would be Johnlock’s love child.
